The myPWS app is designed for owners of personal weather stations (PWS) and contributors to Weather Underground. This app is exclusively available for iOS and WatchOS.

If you own a weather station that submits measurement data to Weather Underground, myPWS is the perfect app for you. It offers a quick overview and detailed diagrams of your weather station's readings, as well as the readings from over 250,000 other weather stations in the Wunderground network.

To get started, all you need is your personal API key, which you can obtain from your personal account on Wunderground.com. Simply enter this API key to configure access to Wunderground.com in myPWS.

Once configured, myPWS allows you to view the latest readings from your own weather station, as well as any other weather station registered on Wunderground.com. You can easily search for nearby or distant weather stations using the area map and view detailed diagrams and current readings.

myPWS provides extensive diagrams with various options:

Measured values of the current and previous day
Last 7 days of data (hourly or daily)
Data from any specific day in the past
Monthly and yearly data
Data from two PWS compared in a single chart
Combined data from one PWS in a single chart
Wind direction chart

You can also display up to two different types of data together in a single diagram, allowing for easy comparison, such as temperature and air pressure.

Additional features of myPWS include:

Caching and exporting data via iCloud or email to your other devices that have myPWS installed—this saves on API calls, which are limited to 1,500 per day through Wunderground.com using your API key
Ability to add more than two stations to your station list
Exporting diagram data in CSV, PDF, or graphic format
Emailing raw measurement data as provided by Weather Underground

Please note that myPWS requires a Wunderground.com account and a registered PWS in your account. You will receive an API key when you register a PWS, which is necessary for accessing data from the Wunderground network through myPWS. Access to PWS measurement data is dependent on the availability of the Wunderground infrastructure and API services, which are not controlled by the developers of the myPWS app.

Some additional features are available as one-time In-App purchases.
